Where do we meet for tutoring?
Sessions are typically held in students' homes, but meetings at a local library, cafe, or school campus can be arranged. When in-person meetings are not possible, virtual sessions via Zoom as are available.
When are your available for tutoring?
During the school year, when ACPS is in session, sessions are offered Monday–Thursday from 3:30–6:30 PM and Sundays from 10:00 AM–4:00 PM. Summer session hours offer additional flexibility, with availability on weekdays from 9:00 AM–6:30 PM and weekends from 10:00 AM–4:00 PM.
How often should my child attend tutoring?
Most students benefit from regularly weekly sessions, though frequency can be adjusted based on goals, timelines, and academic needs. One time or emergency review session can be scheduled on a case-by-case basis.
What is your cancelation policy?
Each student receives one free cancellation. After that, sessions canceled with 48+ hours' notice incur no fee. Cancellations within 48 hours are subject to a $10 rescheduling fee, and cancellations within 24 hours incur a $30 cancellation fee.
What forms of payment do you accept?
Accepted forms of payment include checks, Venmo, Zelle, PayPal, and cash. Cash payments receive a small per-session discount. Invoices are provided upon booking confirmation. Payment is expected at the time of service.
